To aid those persons, as described above, by providing scholarships, grants and/or loans.
To enhance the health and well-being of persons in communities having a disproportionate number of socially, economically and educationally deprived persons by implementing programs, seminars, lectures, disease screening, and audio-visual presentations which emphasize the medical problems most encountered by underserved populations.
To encourage and reinforce the ideals of service, dedication, leadership and commitment among the membership, such that quality health care, preventive medicine and ultimately a better quality of life is assured to those persons who are in most need of those services but most often have not received them.
